RHYTHM

I think that rhythm is a reoccurring sound or beat. If music does not have good rhythm, I am not interested in it.

  • What do you like about the way she presented the information? Why?
I think that she presented the information very well. She broke down the information on to giant note cards so that the students can see and comprehend better. She did not just read from her own notes, but she made her notes to where students can watch and listen to her.

  • What do you dislike about the way she presented information? Why?
I dislike that at the beginning, she did not know what to do with the note cards she had already went through. She created a distraction by moving them around. She should have been better prepared with how she was going to discard of them.

  • Is this an example of good teaching? Why do you think so?
I do think this is good teaching. As I have said, she broke down the information onto multiple note cards. Also, I like how she provided examples of rhythm by clapping.

  • How many different ways did she present the information? Why do you think this is important?
She first presented the information by the google.com information, but she then presented it on her own with an easier definition for students to learn. As I said in question 3, she also presented the information through clapping examples, showing rhythm.

Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is Brittany Price and I am a Junior at WVSU. I studied at Concord University my first two years. My major at WVSU is Elementary Education. I am born and raised in Boone County, West Virginia and I live in the Madison/Danville area.

I have always loved children and knew that one day, I would become a teacher. I have participated in numerous events involving children from after school tutoring, to observing, to coaching cheer leading.

My dad and I my 20th Birthday!
I hope to gain better music skills so that I can use them with my future students. I have not been a part of any musical experiences unless you count singing in the car and in the shower. :)

I am 20 years old and the youngest of my two sisters and one brother. I am a daddy's girl. My dad is 75, but doesn't act or look a day over 50. He is the sweetest, most stubborn man you will ever meet. My mom is my best friend and I would not change that for the world.

My sisters and brother have blessed me with all together, 3 nephews and 1 niece whom I adore. I am very outgoing and I always try to find the fun in EVERYTHING! My friends would describe me as funny, caring, and very loud! I have a passion for fashion. My motto is "Live each day as if it were a fashion show and the world is your runway!" I am always finding new patterns and outfits to put together. I also have a passion for helping children. I hope that one day I will leave an impact on thousands of them forever!

New York City is my favorite place on earth. My goal is to one day live and teach there. It is of course; "The Big Apple!"
